Last year, the prize-giving ceremony for this competition series took place after the event in Kassel. As a result, the ceremony became rather long and time-consuming, and tended to get lost in the general hubbub. For this reason, the WQF has decided to honour the successful winners on the evening before the Kassel competition.
The weather was perfect as our small group gathered by the Fulda for the dignified presentation of the prizes. The tasteful wooden trophies from Koch-Kirsch were received with great enthusiasm. Afterwards, there was plenty to talk about over a light snack and drinks. However, we didn’t stay too long, as the next competition was due to take place the following Sunday.
