The fourth edition of TRI NAD NIESŁYSZEM took place on 12 September 2026 in Przełazy, Poland. For the second time, the event included a Quadrathlon competition, combining four different disciplines into one race.
The Quadrathlon consisted of:
750-metre swim
20-kilometre cycle
4-kilometre kayak
5-kilometre run
A total of 10 athletes took part in the Quadrathlon. The race was held in beautiful weather, providing good conditions for the competitors across all four disciplines. It’s a pity that no women signed up for this lovely competition!
The competition for the overall victory was particularly close. Adam Dąbrowicz eventually won the race with a time of 1:54:25, followed just one second later by Malte Gallee in 1:54:26. Piotr Przysiwiek completed the podium in 1:57:45.
The lead changed several times during the race. Gallée came out of the water in third position before moving into first place during the cycling stage. He maintained the lead through the kayaking section and entered the final five-kilometre run at the front. Dąbrowicz gradually closed the gap during the run, setting up a very close battle for the finish.
The decisive moment came in the final part of the running course. After Dąbrowicz had caught Gallée, the two athletes remained close until the finish. Gallée launched his final sprint early and managed to take the lead again for around 30 metres. However, Dąbrowicz caught him again just two metres before the finish line and crossed the line first. After almost two hours of racing, only one second separated the two leading athletes.
The three podium finishers also showed different strengths across the individual disciplines. Gallée recorded the fastest cycling time of the race with 36:46, while Dąbrowicz was fastest in the kayak, completing the four kilometres in 28:08. Przysiwiek recorded the fastest running time, finishing the five-kilometre course in 21:09. The fastest swim was recorded by Radoslaw Blicharczyk, who completed the 750 metres in 15:36.
Behind the podium, Romek Pietrzak finished fourth in 2:01:01, followed by Tomasz Domański in 2:03:53. The remaining competitors completed the race with Ajay Van Poucke, Bernd Scheller, Radoslaw Blicharczyk, Adam Bartosiewicz and Jan Nowakowski finishing between 2:05:40 and 2:18:36.
With a one-second gap between the first two finishers, the 2026 Przełazy Quadrathlon ended with an exceptionally close finish. The event once again brought together swimming, cycling, kayaking and running in a single competition as part of TRI NAD NIESŁYSZEM.
