Today we introduce you to one of our youngest athletes.

My name is Markus, I am 14 years old and come from Kaufungen.

I’ve been a member of the Kassel Water Sports Association (WVC) since I was 5 years old. I learned to swim and canoe there. I’ve been competing as a triathlete for the WVC for about two years and completed my first quadrathlon at Ratscher Bergsee last year. I really enjoyed it. Quadrathlon is a great sport and the athletes are a great community. I hope to be able to take part again soon.

⚪️🔴Quadrathlon EM🔴⚪️

Was für ein großartiger Tag bei der Quadrathlon-Europameisterschaft in Kassel! Dank der hervorragenden Organisation von Bernd, Hucky und dem engagierten Helferteam wurde der Wettkampf auf unserem WVC-Gelände ein voller Erfolg – vielen Dank an alle, die mit angepackt haben!

🌎Rund 50 Athlet*innen aus acht Nationen trotzten der 15 Grad kalten Fulda und absolvierten Schwimmen, Rad, Kanu und Laufen bei bestem Wetter.

🥇Der EM-Titel in der Staffel ging an unser Team WVC-1 – Glückwunsch an Maksym, Johannes, Felix und Martin!

🥇 In der Altersklasse Jugend siegte Markus Krawietz von der WVC Kassel.

🥇 Europameister (Sprint) wurde Ferenc Csima (Ungarn),
🥈 Platz 2: Leos Rousavy,
🥉 Platz 3: Eric Lieseke

🥇 Europameisterin (Sprint) wurde Anna-Lena Klee,
🥈 Platz 2: Anke Trilling,
🥉 Platz 3: Susanne Walter

Heute habe ich an der Quadrathlon Europa-Meistersc

Heute habe ich an der Quadrathlon Europa-Meisterschaft in der Sprintdistanz in Kassel teilgenommen. Der Wettkampf wurde von meinem Verein, der wvckassel , organisiert und dank der Unterstützung des heimischen Publikums konnte ich meine Bestleistung zeigen.

Beim Start um 8.45 Uhr war das Wasser 15 Grad kalt und die 500m ganz schön frisch. Mit dem Rad ging es dann drei Runden über den Auedamm, welcher natürlich für die Autos gesperrt war. Anschließend ging es für 5 km ins Kanu und zum Schluss noch eine 5 km Runde durch die Buga.

Am Ende belegte ich Platz 10 in der Gesamtwertung aller Starter. 😁

Mit einer Endzeit von 1:30 Std. wurde ich 1. in meiner Altersklasse Jugend und somit Europameister! 🔥

Vielen Dank an alle Helfer vor Ort und an Bernd und Hucky für die super Organisation!

Vielen Dank natürlich auch an max.riisch , oliver.degenhardt und die zg_kassel für das gute Training.

Ich freue mich schon auf meinen nächsten Start beim Quadrathlon!

I‘m Antje Fiebig (10.06.1971).
In winter, I like to go cross-country skiing in the low mountain ranges. In summer, I ride my MTB a lot.
In addition to the quatrathlon, I compete in the regional triathlon league for Athletico Leipzig and in national and international cross triathlon championships. The odd open water swim and an MTB race are often included in the season.
But I also like a leisurely hike with a freshly tapped beer.

Favorite quadrathlon: Ratscher Bergsee
Schorf Heide Cross Quadrathlon (unfortunately no longer exists)

Nice successes: - Many top 3 placings at World Championships, European Championships and DM in the Quadrathlon.

I Hope we See us!

Heute war ich bei der Europameisterschaft im Quadr

Heute war ich bei der Europameisterschaft im Quadrathlon in der Sprintdistanz ausgetragen beim wvckassel

Ich hatte den Fotodienst für den Verein und habe einige Hundert Fotos von den rund 50 Startern aus acht Nationen geschossen.

Markus ( mk34260_tri )war natürlich auch am Start und wurde 10. in der Gesamtwertung aller Starter und 1. in seiner Altersklasse.

Er ist also Europameister in der Altersklasse Jugend! 🎉

Toll gemacht, mein Großer! 😃
