Also at the Basildon Quadrathlon - the U10 boys co

Also at the Basildon Quadrathlon - the U10 boys competed over 50m, 400m, standing long jump and howler throw:

Ilias Dunbar was 4th overall - 8.20 for 50m (3rd overall in this event), 1:18.5 - 400m, 1.63m in the SLJ & 22.09m in the howler
Karthik Prabhu was 6th - 8.40 for 50m, 1:17.3 - 400m (3rd overall in this event), 1.61m in the SLJ & 18.90m in the howler
Jesse Rowell was 7th - 8.60 for 50m, 1:16.6 - 400m (2nd) overall in this event), 1.60m in the SLJ & 22.70m in the howler
Sean Connor was 8th - 8.70 for 50m, 1:18.4 - 400m (2nd), 1.65m in the SLJ & 22.00m in the howler
Jack Fitzgerald was 16th - 9.20 for 50m, 1:24.4- 400m (2nd), 1.50m in the SLJ & 18.72m in the howler

The U12s all compete over 75m, 600m, a long jump and howler throw and our brilliant U12 boys did a great job:
Alex Smith - 6th overall. 11.10 for 75m, 1:58.2 for 600m, 3.61m in LJ and 25.90m in the howler
James Fitzgerald - 7th overall. 11.80 for 75m, 1:56.3 for 600m, 2.88m in LJ and 33.69m in the howler
Leo Rowell - 15th overall. 11.70 for 75m, 2:06.0 for 600m, 3.33m in LJ and 25.25m in the howler
George Kyprianou - 16th overall. 12.40 for 75m, 1:57.60 for 600m, 3.12m in LJ and 26.32m in the howler
Tommy Scott - 19th overall. 12.7 for 75m, 2:03.5 for 600m, 2.89m in LJ and 28.81m in the howler
Leo Boisvert - 19th overall. 12.30 for 75m, 1:57.4 for 600m, 3.23m in LJ and 21.95m in the howler
Zak Robinson - 24th overall. 11.90 for 75m, 2:00.5 for 600m, 2.47m in LJ and 19.24m in the howler
Arlo Johnson - 25th overall. 12.30 for 75m, 2:18.9 for 600m, 2.93m in LJ and 21.30m in the howler

A huge well done everyone and thank you to all of the parents who helped out at the event.

Elsewhere - U16 Emmanuel Oyedele picked up a new 100m hurdles PB at hurdle fest in Chelmsford with two great runs - 14.30 and 14.17.

And on Friday at the Serpentine 5k it was a 3rd place finish for Robin Smith with a PB of 16:49 whilst Summer Smith was first female with her run of 17:05. Also picking up new PBs were Emily Brewington - 19:18 and Blossom Smith - 19:19.

A super competition today for our Beagles juniors

A super competition today for our Beagles juniors who took part in the Basildon Quadrathlon. We saw lots of great performances and so much potential!

The U10 girls competed over 50m, 400m, standing long jump and howler throw.

Priya Shina-Grant finished 5th overall - 8.90 over 50m, 1:26.0 for 400m, 1.71m in the SLJ & 21.75m in the howler (3rd best throw in the competition)
Arielle Williams was 9th overall - 9.00 over 50m, 1:34.1 for 400m, 1.60m in the SLJ & 14.88m in the howler
Danel Esterhuysen finished 10th - 9.40 for 50m, 1:25.2 - 400m, 1.59m in the SLJ & 15.19m in the howler
Freya Brewington was 11th - 9.20 for 50m, 1:32.10 - 400m, 1.52m in the SLJ & 10.42m in the howler
Harriet Fletcher was 12th - 9.40 for 50m, 1:30.8 - 400m, 1.53m in the SLJ & 11.55m in the howler
Sage Kernohan was 17th - 10.10 for 50m, 1:51.4 - 400m, 1.48m in the SLJ & 14.34m in the howler
Elsie Denham was 18th - 9.30 for 50m, 1.23m in the SLJ & 14.98m in the howler

Elise Gosling - 5th overall. 11.40 for 75m, 2:01.4 for 600m, 3.06m in LJ and 17.73 in the howler.
Lily Tyler - 7th overall. 12.60 for 75m, 2:05.3 for 600m, 2.84m in LJ and 24.70m in the howler.
Ivy Kernohan - 10th overall. 11.90 for 75m, 2:22.4 for 600m, 2.84m in LJ and 25.21m in the howler (3rd overall in the event)
Anaiya Obika - 14th overall. 11.50 for 75m, 2:26.5 for 600m, 3.40m in LJ and 17.65m in the howler.
Thea Clark - 22nd overall. 12.20 for 75m, 2:00.5 for 600m (3rd overall in the event), 2.92m in LJ and 11.20m in the howler
Sofia Boisvert - 23rd overall. 12.20 for 75m, 2:16.4 for 600m, 2.94m in LJ and 17.01m in the howler
Maggie Denham - 35th overall. 12.70 for 75m, 2:21.4 for 600m, 2.67m in LJ and 13.12m in the howler
Saoirse Taylor-Lynch - 36th overall. 12.10 for 75m, 2:19.20 for 600m, 2.05m in LJ and 11.84m in the howler
