World Cup winners 2010 on Ibiza in front

As traditionally in the past few years the World Cup season was opened at the Quadrathlon on the island of Ibiza. The race was over a distance of 1,5 km swim, 8 km kayak, 40 km bike and 10 km run. First position in the swim went to the Portuguese athlete Pedro Bartolomeu and he developed his lead up to the end of kayak of 2 minutes.
